The vedas is the origin of all antient Indian shastras and prathas or an ancient education , where vastushastra is one of its subject.

The word VED represents a gratitude to vedic education and contents or remembering the origin of the subject.

whereas VASTUSHASTRA is one of the shastra or subject of vedic education or can be elaborated as a science more than 1500 years old related to building construction and interior management where the nature elements is given far more importance to harvest positive energies and exclude negative impacts in the property, where a house is constructed and arranged in such a way that it acts like a funnel in order to receive the positive energies from the mother nature which in results help the family members to live a happy, prosperous and blissful life ahead.

For those who believes Vastu is a religious subject and has no scientific basis.

“For a friendly argument, Just because you don’t understand something doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. Do you understand astrophysics, robotics or for that matter even medical science? May be not!

This is my standard answer to people who discard off Vastu Shastra as a mere religious belief. They do so without understanding the logics and science behind it.

Vastu Shastra is an ancient Indian science developed thousands of years ago by Indian sages.

It takes into account the factors influencing a construction site. It is an important part of Indian Architecture and has its roots in philosophy, maths, geology, geography and cosmic science.

The factors influencing a site are topography, roads, surrounding structures, the Sun’s effects, Earth’s magnetic field, the cardinal directions and Nature’s five elements etc.

This science was used to construct temples which have been storehouses of powerful energies since time immemorial and still stand tall. And this is not merely because the idols of Gods exist there.

It is because those temples as well as the idols of Gods were constructed with precise mathematical and geometrical calculations. This made them vibrate in harmony with the forces of nature.

In buildings each direction is dominated by one element – a balanced state being the cause of positive, and an imbalanced state the cause of negative effects. It is the balance or imbalance among these Panchtattva that makes one’s Space a virtual heaven or hell. An underground water tank in South Zone will cause anxiety, fire-accidents, restlessness and disturbed sleep. Similarly, the fire placed in North Zone (Zone of Water) will block new opportunities, receipt of payments and lack of orders, as they are attributes of this Zone. So here in these examples, you can see how an imbalanced state of elements in a building creates problematic real-life situations.
